Final mix of the year so here's my pick for 2013! Starting with one of the biggest chart hits of this year - the fresh and catchy disco influenced dance sound of Daft Punk with Pharrell Williams, followed by Avicii's collaboration with Aloe Blacc. "Wake Me Up" truly brings back those nice summery days smile Next a bit of beach house, "Chain Of Fools" in the X mix to keep that summer feel and Harry Peat's Affrodizziac; a track from 2005 which I had not heard of until I found it on Audiojelly a couple of months ago.

In the Trance department, a bit of mixed feelings this year; nothing really extraordinary, however there were still a handful of releases that had my attention Personal favorite is EDU's "For The Soul" - what an amazing track! And one of the most energetic ones has to be "Raptor" by Digital X. Good stuff!
The (indie) album of the year award goes to Twenty Thirteen by Rolf Maier Bode (remember RMB back in the 90s? ) I can only highly recommend this album to anyone interested in good quality music, no matter what your favorite genre or music style is - I've selected one of the album highlights: "Meta Love".
The final part of this episode of Selected is reserved for a 're-discovered' classic - remember Roger Sanchez' 2001 hit "Another Chance"? and a hidden one: the groovy 2004 Jacques Le Cont remix of Juliet's Avalon - great vocals by Juliet Richardson, a monster tune to end this mix!
