Well, I did not mean to go hard on you, it was just my opinion. I actually suspected that you put it there because of some personal reasons. However I still feel such a big contast between your brilliant and sophisticated track selection up until the last two songs and those "undiscussables" smile It was shockingly surprising. IMHO you could make amazing sets if you could hold back these personal favourites that do not fit into the overall style - there are many other ways to show diversity.
I believe that one of the unwritten rules of DJ mixes or even mixtapes is consistency - not necessarily the same genre all the way through, but the same mood or consistently sticking to a certain theme whatever it could be. I don't think your last two sets could be explained after the first 9 with any theme at all (hmm... genius gone mad? smile just joking...).
Actually some of these rules are written down in Nick Hornby's Hi-Fidelity book (and movie) if you've read/seen it smile
Again, don't take it hard, just my very personal opinion, hope you can use it as a constructive feedback!
Using the reprise of "The Tea" over the previous tracks' beat was a brilliant idea again, I did not even noticed first as I just quickly ran over your set late night...
The Tea version I played is a reprise on top of beats from Bucie's track.
Regarding the last track - one might yes think, this track doesn't suite the bunch but on the other hand - i do like diversities in my mixes. It's a personal opinion, but I just love this remix.

Future mixes coming soon. Mot of my energy goes to hosting a radioshow which you all can download from www.soultounite.com
Great intro track, some smooth transitions, not bad as your first mix here! I particularily liked Choklate, The Tea, although my favourite version is the Reel People Rework (yours is a bit harder but it fits into the remainder of your tracklisting). The lyrics are cool with the bassline quote I used up in the title being the highlight for me.
My very personal opinion is that you killed the whole set with the last song, I cannot really imagine anything worse than this bad cover of the similarily bad, overplayed "Be My Baby" commercial disco junk (hmmm - maybe "I Will Survive"? - if you know what I mean)
It was a big surprise for me at the end since your tracklisting otherwise is pretty solid. Still a 50 from me, I'm interested to hear your next set!
