Not sure why I missed this so far - big surprise for me! No wonder this is the No.1 chillout mix for this year - very confident mixing and precise transitions.

I expected ambient downtempo chill so I was surprised to see and hear Vincenzo - one of my favs, great electro sound that is followed later on. OK, so this is uptempo, what a great twist!
Your beats are dope, Laird & John Pickett is mindblowing, first it's very heavy electro then the pure funk riffs come in. Love your style of mixing when you pull in the whole new track at full, precise volume on the downbeat, that's what I also like, so it's like a structural part of the song, not fading in so you can hear that it's a mix. But then you fade out and filter properly to blend the instruments, very confident, have to repeat myself but that comes to my mind, pure professionalism.
One of the softer Gramatik tracks, I discovered him on Beatport too, usually he's more trip-hoppy, this is a nice fit here.
Yeah, Hybrid is a surprise, one of the classics, again, not the usual hardcore breakbeats from him, so fits in well.
Above and Beyond is awesome with the vocals, so it does get ambient after a while smile Reminded me of Evanescence a bit (sorry, no offence smile and Dzihan & Kamien's "Drophere". This is very nice here blending into FC Kahuna, very same moods, this latter to me is a a crossover between Morcheeba and Zero7.
Christian Nagel is like a "trance-chill" for me, bit too mainstream sounding to my taste but I don't like tracnce in general (Track 6 was similar). Nevertheless it sits well in your own concept.
Same theme until Track 13 then another classic I:Cube, wow, how I love this track! Now this is more trip-hop or downtempo for me or Lo-Fi, whatever you want to call it - nice change from the previous electronic sounds.
You mix some very different genres and tempos as well, but it's not annoying since there is a concept in it, they all flow nicely, you just handle it well with the blends - eg. DT8 is very high BPM, but still sits well at that point of the set, in fact it creates more contrast for the last more slower track...
