I have mixed all in ABLETON LIVE again! It is hardheaded, and so it was a challenge for me to warp the tracks PERFECT this time! Finally I have figured it out to set the perfect beat grid! Have watched some tutorials about that on YouTube. In fact it is no mystery how you can set the beat grid perfect, but you have to learn it! You can move the transients markers AND the warp markers to the perfect beats with a Windows command and THEN you can pull the beats to the perfect places!
Often the beat grid is set quite good by Ableton Live, when you set THE FIRST BEAT right! But not always! For example I have to set ALL BEAT MARKERS in the FUNK HUNK track by myself! ALL! My hand was swollen after that! It starts curious with claps on the SECOND beat - and also when I have started the warping when the music begins, Ableton Live couldn't clock it, not ANY beat!
I have worked with different dj equipments. Ableton Live is a all-rounder, that was the reason why I had bought it! FL Studio is good for electronic music production, Cubase is brilliant for music production general, Mixmeister is fine for dj studio mixes etc., but Ableton Live you can use for a LIVE MASTER on stage, you can record channels with it, you can PRODUCE with it! You can use it as a additional drums machine with TRAKTOR or with RECORD BOX, the system of PIONEER or alone as a performing machine LIVE! As a dj program in the studio how I have done it or even LIVE as a dj program!
You realize that ABLETON LIVE is it worth to be learned, because you can be creative with it IN SO MANY WAYS, and so it's the best DAW for a all-rounder! Yes, that is the reason why I have worked AGAIN with it! To work better with it! Listen to the beats: PERFECT synced this time!
I have worked with dozens of channels! You could say that this is a DJ WORK! A producer would mix the tracks NAKED! Or he / she would PRODUCE SOMETHING! But a dj wants to put the things together and wants to SYNC them !
So I have synced a stomping club beat on many tracks from additional audio loops or from the tracks! Also a lot of MIDI programming in the mix to push it!
Furthermore I have learned some new mastering tricks by other dj's and producers on YouTube, but I must say: the end sound mastering of the whole mix is ALWAYS not easy! I hope you like my upload master sound!
