So the Fast Forward/Rewind concept came to me when I was doing a little spring cleaning in the garage. I have a few old crates full of records and they were just in the corner collecting dust. When I looked at them closer the records and songs were begging for another chance to be heard. I found a small note pad inside one of the record sleeves and it had my old playlist from one of my Trance shows where I opened for Timo Maas in '98. I couldn't resist the chance to record this set again, I recorded all my tracks in this set from the actual records. If you listen closely you can hear the small needle artifacts coming through (sounds great to me) now days everything is so digital that small detail is missing in my opinion.
Well anyway when I thought of how to share this treasure, it occurred to me that Dslide would be the perfect partner in this adventure. I let him present the Fast Forward section and I played the Rewind section. I want to thank Dslide for this opportunity to work together he is an amazing artist and DJ and for that I am honored to be involved in this production with him.
Please don't just scan through this mix set, remember these tracks I have shared were buried in my garage never to be heard from again. They are over 12yrs old for the most part and they wanted to let you hear them one more time.
