First compiled in the mid-90s, via vinyl and CD, as one did then, this session was one I was eager to remake in MixMeister when that opportunity came along. Sound handling in the early versions of MM was unkind to organic instruments, so when the software improved, another redo was in order, and this time I brought in a few newer selections as well.

Well, let's see...besides saying that this is a great mix that everyone should listen to and vote for, and that I like the graphics of the table and two chairs, because it reminds me of those small tables at Blues Alley...then simply JOB WELL DONE (like we expected anything less considering the source).
Thx so much for the kind reception, guys! I want to be sure to say that all credit is due to The Third Power, who encouraged me to post this ... it is definitely one of my goals to create another solid jazz session in the time to come.
