Is it me or did Trance music just start sounding a lot better in the last decade or so? When I listen to a classic Trance record, say from the 90s, and compare that to a recently released one, it just seems to me that the old Trance records were not as ‘rich’ in texture and harmony as the ones released in this decade.
This is why I’m taking my Trance Nchantment series in a new direction with this release: I’m incorporating a lot of current Trance hits as opposed to only the old time classics. Of course, they’re all tracks I absolutely love. Another change that you’ll notice in this release is that I’ve started mixing Progressive Trance tracks as well. Those are incredibly high in energy and serve well to spice up the mood of the overall mix.
