THE JACKSONS were on tour in Germany current and these "old" guys still have it down pat! Furthermore have you all seen Omar Sy in "The Intouchables" which is called here in Germany "Ziemlich Beste Freunde"? Fantastic when he dances to the good old sound in front of the classic fans, isn't it?!
So I have thought this good old sound is it! It was the idol for all modern funky sounds like funky house, dance, disco etc.! I have searched for good old funk on my 1 terabyte external hard disc for tracks from my thousands of recordings of lp's, singles, ep's and cd's which I have made before 8 years or so and have packed my favorites in the playlist just as some funk - and disco classics!
Mixed with good skills like beatmixing in key, with or without loops, effects, short crossfades out of beat, but in key and some sweepers as overlays.
So I hope you like this good old Funk by your DJ Mojito! Next time I come with something newer again, ok! Dance like OMAR SY in "The Intouchables" !!!!
