I've recompiled a deep ambient mix originally created in 1997, when it's title was "Spaced". This mix was first resurrected in 2004, when I made some adjustments to the set-list to emphasize the deeper aspects, adding the utterly sublime "1/1" from Brian Eno's 1978 album "Ambient I: Music for Airports". Though the set-list is short, the tracks themselves are mostly of epic length, with "Galactic Rebirth" clocking in at close to 20 mins. Think of it as a stretching exercise for your attention span.
Additional acknowledgement is due to Alfred Bester since I nicked the title of his influential 1956 SF novel to use here. Listening to this set, you may find yourself feeling like the novel's hero, Gully Foyle, adrift between the stars in the wreck of his spaceship, endlessly floating ... These days, of course, Gully would have headphones on, and you might want to as well ....
