This lounge mix has both instrumental and vocal with jazz & house sounds. Hope you enjoy! Cheers smile
Marc mate, this is wonderful, highest level of consistency in your track selection all the way through, I like it a lot. I should say it's a typical MarcAngelo sound since you like it a bit more ambient but at the same time this one is very, very jazzy and cool. Interesting switch to move to uptempo...
Marc mate, this is wonderful, highest level of consistency in your track selection all the way through, I like it a lot. I should say it's a typical MarcAngelo sound since you like it a bit more ambient but at the same time this one is very, very jazzy and cool. Interesting switch to move to uptempo in your lounge series, this could pass as deep house but I agree that it's better to put it under lounge, it has a great mood.
The mix of vocal and instrumental tracks works out well, not disturbing at all, it just adds to the consisteny. Track 12 is awesome, how smooth and subtle, very soulful. Loved the sax solo in Souldoubt. Andy Holder, Jazzanova, of course they are great. The brazilian feel at Track 5 and 6 was awesome since it still kept the laid-back lounge mood. My fav transition is from this one to Track 7, Jazzanova, I love it the way you "space it out" around 28:00, let the house beats run out and mix at the outro-intro - it has a great flow with the percussions sill running and then the funky bassline coming in, textbook excellence.
Great transitions all the way through - I did not hear any mistakes this time smile
Probably the only down point for me was Track 1, but it's just my taste of music - I find these synthesizer imitated horn and trumpet sounds annoying, especially when you can compare it to real live instruments next to them. The whole song would be a good concept, it has a great sound, it's only the arrangement that is a bit simplistic.
I will however look out for the rest of your tracks, especially Souldoubt, need to go shopping to Beatport...
