Hawker, Andrew Hawks, is a tech house DJ from Denver, CO.
Growing up on house and new wave from Frankie Knuckles to New Order, after raves came to Colorado in 1991 Andrew began writing scene reports and reviews for dance magazines like Urb and ran the popular mtn-raves email list.
Currently VP of Technology at a leading Denver interactive agency, Andrew was also an early developer on Beatport. Just focusing on distributing sets for friends, Andrew has remained passionate about the stylish and expressive house and techno found in Hawker mixes for over 25 years.
