About Me
Darren Lo was born in Hong Kong on November 22,1979, raised in Hong Kong, Australia and United State. He is an Asian DJ where he started his DJing since high school in the 90’s. However, his very first attempted was actually back into the junior high where he went to an occasion social party at school in Australia. He remembers going on to the stage whilst the DJ was playing the most favorite song in all time “Whoomp (there is)†from Tag Team. Then he asked the DJ if he is allowed to spin just one song without having any knowledge of Djng and of cause since he was the coolest person he has ever seen in that time.
After spending years discovering himself in different genre, he discovered his best interested in dance music and decided to move down the path on the career as Semi-pro DJ in Hong Kong in the 90’s while he was only 17. He had performed in a couple special events at JP Encounter, Harldy’s II, Bling, C-Top and a couple more places in Central LKF Hong Kong. Sooner enough he moved to the state of Nevada Las Vegas, the capital of entertainment, where he continues his journey from the underground raves and lounges. He had performed at Risque at the Paris Hotel, Club Utopia & Club 7 on the strip, Club Revolution at the Mirage and etc for years. Some of the events were also spotted as the main DJ and the resident DJ in Christmas and New Year Eve parties. Moreover through out the years, he had also participated into live stream Djing in southern California area, such as Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Darren moved to Macau, China in 2009 and was immediately invited to perform in Fashion club at the Fisherman wharf where he first time performed with celebrity DJ (DJ Yellow) for the Halloween party. He was at first arranged to have a China tour a month after the show by another entertainment group, however, due to the unfortunate world economy, the tour was terminated.
Darren was one of the well-known Asian DJ in Las Vegas rave and nightclub scene. His music were influenced by DJ Dan, DJ Donald Glaude, DJ Thee O and DJ Frankie Lam, DJ Darren Emerson, DJ Skribble and DJ Qbert.
