Started recording off the radio on to tape in '82, compiling personal favourites... into electro, hip hop then house... got into acid house in '89, then rave in '91, dex in 92, DJ Cortex playing hardcore to 96 when it all got a bit silly, so turned to current DJ name and got involved with putting on events from 95 around the midlands and occasional worldwide forays playing trip hop, then into big beat, breakbeat, broken beat, bruk, kuduro, wonk, jazz, funk, crack-house, forward thinking music...... now it doesn't matter, AS LONG AS IT GOT SOUL!!!!!
