DjBigFurious was introduced to house music at the age of 14yrs old. BigFurious was exposed to the chicago bases genre in highschool, the famous Whitney Young Magnet Highschool. Some of the most famous house music dj's would come there to play for the schools dance parties. Dj's, like farley jackmaster funk, steve silk hurdley, scott smokin silz was just a few that inspired him.BigFurious first claim of fame came when he went to southern illinois university. There, he was taught how to Dj by eric disco bitoy, the little brother of famous promoter tony bitoy. After getting his hands on training, he entered a dj contest that was organized by howard mcgee, who later became one of the biggest radio dj's in the world. Howard mcgee hand picked 5 dj's out of 20 contestants. I was one of the dj's picked who became the hotmix5 of w.i.d.b college radio station.
