Dj rivmic has been connected to the dance music scene since the late 80s,
he first got a set of citronics- and a Gemini grandmaster flash style mixer in 1989

after helping create a number of promotions in his local area and a underground record shop Uniform records the opportunity rose to move to manchester where he quickly secured residency work at the banshee circa 92

soon after that he moved to london where he lived for 5 years and set up a drum n bass imprint Coup de main recordings
and also a number of nights in the capital Nuphunk- NU horizuns and Intro
he started to learn the art of making his own tracks and now makes music under a variety of guises
