I've discovered D'n'B in 95-96 with Photek (and also Peshay, Size, Goldie, Doc Scott... but Photek's musical universe was so unique).
I listened to "Modus Operandi" thousand times. Recently, "KZJ" remains me how his breakbeats were so different from the usual amen breaks signature of the early D'n'B/Jungle.
"Solaris" was a turning point. His mix for the DJ Kicks serie is just perfect, I think, because he found a particular way between his D'n'B heritage, post-dubstep and minimalistic influences. So... Yeah, Photek is my man ! smile

XD it´s a bit weird that you see him 90% of his screentime in breakfast scenes! lol* / Season 1 of The Walking Dead was EPIC.. thats the reason i was dissapointed with most of season 2! so many dull moments and less tension! but last ep of s2 looked promising again for s3..
