Gotta have House music!
Some of the first ever House music productions by Chicago-based artists in the mid and late-1980s. Most of the tracks in this mix were released on Trax Records (hence the title of this mix), one of the larger two original Chicago house-music labels (the other being D.J. International Records).
Belgian Techno
Track 7 is a 1990 tune from Belgian veterans Ro Maron (real name: Rembert De Smet, from 2 Belgen) and Ferre Baelen, released on the Belgian pioneer label Dance Opera.
New York House
Track 24, 'Break 4 Love', considered by many to be one of the best house songs ever recorded, was made by New York multi-instrumentalist Vaughan Mason.
Enjoy!
