Chicago impresario DJ Malone got things going early in his life. Always passionate about music, he was eager for the world to hear what he had to say. At 13, with DJStormy as a mentor, he was already deejaying. By 16 he was producing. As he got older he started shooting and editing music videos and short films. Dedicated to hard work, he became known as an artistic force to be reckoned with.
At the age of 18 he experienced a setback after trouble with the law, bringing him to the brink of depression. Motivated by his kids, he pulled himself together and gathered his collective talents and decided to do something with them. With more than 159,000 Twitter followers and 22,000 Facebook followers, DJ Malone introduces his fans to the newest underground and independent talent from around the country through his shows on New York’s premier digital radio station WBEG, his Chi-Town Urban Radio show on Slam Internet Radio and as Fleet DJ manager for Chicago. The second season of his TV show, The Grind, is currently in production in Houston.
DJ Malone has deejayed at thousands of events and venues including parties, weddings, clubs and strip clubs. His versatility is shown in the music he plays – EDM, rock, pop, country, Hip Hop, R&B and soul.
A Jack of all trades, DJ Malone has also interviewed the likes of Rodney Perry, Maci Bookout from Teen Mom, Bonecrusher and WGN reporter Julian Crews. He’s helped launch thousands of artists via interviews on his radio shows. He’s produced videos for Tamara Bubble and Houston rap group FOE. Anything you can think of, DJMalone has done it. In fact, he is now in the process of opening a modeling agency.
24/7, DJ Malone proves over and over that you can’t let humble beginning stop you.
