DJ Biography:
Resident DJ to many 5 star hotel lounge bars over the years, plus many one off nightclub events and festivals, DJ Bubblefunk is just at home performing various down-tempo world music fusions to a sophisticated and intimate audience audience as he is the latest deep, tech & progressive house to a large nightclub or festival crowd.
For a total of two years, James performed as the resident DJ for the luxury hotel Lebua at State Tower in Bangkok, Thailand, Asia, The highest DJ lounge rooftop bar in Bangkok with 360-degree panoramic views of the city on the 64th Floor. The hotel also boasts one of the world's highest open-air restaurants and was one of the sets for the Hollywood movie 'The Hangover Part 2'.
Early 2010 saw James as the Rooftop Lounge Bar Resident DJ for the One And Only Royal Mirage, a 5 star resort in Dubai. 2009 was also a busy one for James, performing at events such as the massive Mini United Festival along with Paul Weller and Calvin Harris. The year's excursions also saw him perform in the countries of Singapore and Vietnam in Asia.
2008 saw James help launch many brand new nightclubs and lounge bars in countries such as Dubai and Egypt, offering his DJ expertise and performances to many luxury 5 Star hotel chains such as the Savoy, Hilton, Taj, Crown Plaza and Intercontinental.
Since around 2003 Bubblefunk has performed as a DJ in the UK, Ibiza, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Dubai, Egypt, India, Russia, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Australia & Asia.
His early London DJ appearances included nightclubs and bars such as The End, Mass, Fabric, The Arches, The Dog Star and Babushkas.
Performances alongside other artists have included Calvin Harris, Paul Weller, DJ Ravin, Rob Da Bank, Coldcut and The Stereo MCs among many others.
