Brooksie is a Bristol-based Techno / Breakbeat DJ who's been playing tunes and rocking dancefloors since 2000.
From funky grooves to harder, techy, rolling beats, Brooksie always selects the right tunes at the best time to get the dance floor going..
Known for his solid style, Brooksie is known for his precise, skilled mixing.
He's been involved with nights such as Quantum Bleep, Firebreaks, Tribe Of Frog, Bass Kitchen, Ripsnorter as well as playing at Wigfest, Hamswell, Boomtown, Phatdrop and Carry On Avin' It festivals.
He was also instrumental in creating and hosting DeadEdit which brought together fans of both Breakbeat and Techno.
In 2006 he became part of the Acidic Sound System and has played on the Rave Yard stage at Boomtown festival since it started in 2013.
Brooksie is also part of the Brothers Grim Collective, who have been consistently hosting successful nights in Bristol that remind you of those special times "back in the day". Featuring some of the cream of the UK's underground artists, Brothers Grim nights also showcase new and emerging talent from across the UK at the infamous Techno towers...
