About Me
Laura Love is a female DJ from the UK. She is famous for her energetic and uplifting sets, whether with small intimate venues or large clubs and festivals she always knows how to satisfy the crowds. Laura started dj’ing in 2002 after she taught herself to mix. Within 3 months she was in Liverpool’s search for adj final beating 300 people.
After 7 months of touching her first turntable, Laura then went to Ibiza for her first summer as a working DJ. Her first gig was the opening party for Judgement Sundays at Kanya. After this she was offered a residency with Ministry of Sound. Here she became famous for her 12 hour sets, and playing many workers parties.
Many venues included: Plastik, Eden, Bar M, Itaca, Orange Corner, Kanya, Coastline, Play 2,Garlands @ Kanya, Charlys Angelz, Cafe Paradis and she was also a resident at Hush and Plastik.
Laura played regularly with Jimmy Deja, Da Sendri, Sam Divine, Vicky Devine, Jay C, KuJayDaDa, Hoxton Whores, Trophy Twins, Jamie Gittins, Hoxton Whores, Soul Avengerz, Oliver Lang, Pete Eves, Howard Donald, Chris Bailey and many more.
Also that season, Laura came 3rd in a dj’ing competition in Es Paradis and was voted “Best up and coming Dj of the summerâ€ÂÂ. She then became a resident for Paparazzi in Poland, playing all over the country at fashion shows and large events. Whilst there she also played at Club no 18, Iguana bar, Barbie Bar and Cube.
In the summer of 2006 Laura started her residency with Gladrags in Leeds. Playing regularly in Magaluf’s Bora Bora, BCM, DefCon5 Boat Parties and Fusion.
Back in the UK she played in the south of the UK including-The loft and River Bar in Maidstone, Pacha in London and a boat party on The Yacht Club with Lisa Loud and Pete Doyle.
Laura was then offered a residency with Hed Kandi and Ministry of Sound based in Egypt. There she played all the special events such as the Full Moon Parties, Kandi Live and at Ministry of Sound’s -Gorgeous, From Russia with Love, Battle of the DJ’s and White Sensation.
Here Laura played with DJ’s such as Andy Warbuton, Sax Offender, Chris Bailey, Jim Breese, Prok N Fitch, Judge Jules, Jonathon Ullyses, John Jones, Kellie Acreman, Suzee X, Miss Behavin, Bob Frisky and Steven Kraft, Danny Howard, Jason Fubar, Sarah Louise, Promiss, Vicky Devine, Juann Kidd, The Kellie Marie Act, Rosie Romero, Gemma Furbank, Funkermotion, Darren Emerson, Alistair Whitehead and many more.
In 2013, Laura moved to Doha(Qatar), where she has played at The Ritz Carlton, Sealine, The Marriott,Lava and Dragon Hotel in Bahrain with Ravin, Vanilla, Aly & Fila, Damien D’Costa and Sonique. Laura also attended the Bahrain Music Conference, the first of its kind in the Middle east, and was the only female dj there.
