About Me
PJ Coyle (Drummer/DJ/Producer/Promoter) hails from Ayr, Scotland, UK, He started to play the drum kit aged 11. Come 2013 he has performed in a catalog of collectives, most notably Kinkystone & Melodic Progressive Rock band - Preacher, Playing shows at King Tuts, 02 Academy and The Garage to name a few!
With a love for the electronic sound he began experimenting with sound manipulation aged 17 and took up DJing with a serious approach shortly after.
As well as appearing at many club nights he is no stranger to the Scottish free party/festival scene, performing at the Kelburn Sessions, Audio Soup, Doune The Rabbit Hole, Midgefest, Kaleidoscope, etc.
He has headlined 3 sell out shows with the Beltane Fire Society in Edinburgh - Samhuinn 2011 (The Bongo Club) Beltane 2012 (The Caves) Samhuinn 2012 (Espionage) and has performed at many other venues in Glasgow/Edinburgh and beyond.
PJ holds himself to no genre and has been known to experiment with Hip-Hop, Breaks, Techno, Minimal Techno, Tech House, Deep House, Jungle, Jump-Up, Liquid, Jazzstep, Nuerofunk, Techstep, Hardstep, Hardstyle, Deep Dub, Dubstep, Footwork, Ragtime, Gypsy Jazz, Electro-Swing, etc, etc.
