About Me
Lori Jones is a newly converted spinner of beats and producer alike, hailing from deep down under the globe in beautiful New Zealand.
Born and raised here, Lori was up until recently a fulltime professional fine artist (www.lorijones.co.nz), specializing in portraiture. However, after four years of being surrounded by the art of dj'ing via her ex-partner, she (prompted by him), picked up the cans and began learning to drive a new creative vehicle. As music has always been equal in importance to the paintbrush in regards to her visual ventures, it hasn't been so suprising that this would be an easier than expected transition of creative passion for her.
Starting as Killswitch's selectah whilst she learnt the basics of mixing, she now performs live regularly and has started producing over the past 12 months. Still very much crafting her skill level and standing at the foot of the producing giant, she is strongly drawn in by the appeal of it's opportunities for creative outlet.
Within both Djing and Producing, her genres of choice are currently Deep Tech, Deep house, alongside Chicago and Jackin.
