About Me
This is a newly established record label, at its first year of activity. The founders are two italian producers, musicians and sound engineers, Felix Ricci aka DJ Ritchie and Elisabetta Girardi aka LadyMarySound. Please refer to their individual bios to know more about them.
LADYMARYSOUND debuted as a production team, not a label, in 2010 with the EP “The Sound Revolution†released on Deeper Level Music of Washington, DC.; it was a deep and techy house track and the package included a bunch of remixes done by international producers such as Anaud Strong and Ogee (both from U.S.A.), Jamez&Soulboy from the Netherlands, and Ference Dee from Italy.
Then the team came out with an elektro house single titled “Discolady†on the italian label Madzone Generation, with remixes by Ivan J. DJ and LadyMarySound herself. At their third attempt something happened… Their project “WHO ISâ€Â, released on Kingdom Music of Chicago in june 2012, got full support by quite an army of djs all over the world, and great radio airplay.
“WHO IS†(LadyMarySound ft. JT Thompson) is a wicked deep beat over a stunning tenor sax solo by James Thompson, legendary sessionman well known for his past with Jestofunk, Tommy Vee, CeCe Rogers and the popstar Zucchero Fornaciari. Extraordinary remixers such as George B from the US and Mac Da Knife (UK) also gave their contribution. The encouraging results of sales convinced Elisabetta and Felix to have their own record label, so they contacted the american company SOUL SHIFT MUSIC for publishing and distribution, and got a contract. So the LMS INTL label is now distributed worldwide on almost all the existing digital stores (Traxsource, Beatport, Juno Download, iTunes, Stompy, Amazon, and thousands more).
The goal of LMS INTL is to release quality soulful, deep, tech and classic oldschool house. Their target is the US market, as they hired a renown DJ and radio host, based in Washington, as A&R: Lloyd Wharton aka LDub dj. He has the task to recruit new talents in the above genres for the label. This means label’s accepting demos.
A soulful project titled “Dear Mother†(Meechie Faire & LadyMarySound) was the debut EP of the label. Current release is “Off†by DJ Ference Dee (tech house). Scheduled releases are: “Live Your Life†by LadyMarySound ft. Wendy Lewis (soulful), “Wherever you are†by DJ Morelly ft. Elaine Mata Jones (soulful – classic house), “Brand New Day†by Ricky Nelson & Praise Report (soulful – gospel house) and “TSR13†by Anaud Strong (tech deep house), a reissue of “The Sound Revolution†of 2010 with new remixes.
