About Me
Born and raised in Salinas, California Mr. Dee Jay relocated to beautiful San Diego in 2007, where his name quickly became synonymous with the top music venues around. Mr. Dee Jay’s lifelong passion for music and his determination to spread progressive sounds has opened doors for himself within the entertainment industry. Mr. Dee Jay has already earned himself an endorsement from both Jagermeister and Alpinestars Apparel as well as a 2010 “Best Local DJ†nomination (PromSD.com). His shows throughout Southern California are proof of his immediate success and admiration for the audience.
Spanning across all genres in a single night Mr. Dee Jay is sure to get the crowd pumped with his energetic attitude, intense beats and love for music. Mr. Dee Jay has an intuition that is rare amongst most of today’s DJ’s, giving him the ability to read his audience and deliver a great vibe and unique flavor throughout his sets.
Mr. Dee Jay holds a weekly residency with The Ivy at The Andaz Hotel (Voted #43 Nightclub in America, www.nightclub.com ) in San Diego, Ca. Mr. Dee Jay has also held the title of Official DJ/EMCEE for the 2011 Jagermeister Music Tour (featuring; Buckcherry, Hellyeah, All That Remains and The Damned Things) and the 2012 Jagermeister Music Tour (featuring: Portugal. The Man and The Lonely Forest).
Mr. Dee Jay has performed and shared venues with big names such as Montell Jordan, The Jump Smokers, Papa Roach, Axwell, Unwritten Law, Andre Nicotina, Donald Glaude, Matisyahu, Big B, Skee-lo, Danny Tenaglia and many more. Having played private parties for MGM Studios, Go Pro, Red Bull, Guess and Hall of Fame football player, Marshall Faulk, Mr. Dee Jay has put his stamp on the industry.
From clubs, Stadiums, bars and lavish private parties, Mr. Dee Jay is setting the pace for other DJ’s and has become one of Southern California’s premier entertainers. Mr. Dee Jay pleasantly surprises us all with his unexpected new sounds, which is in itself an art form to be able to foresee the trends in music and not just keep up with them, but improve on them to create new heights for the music industry.
Outside of Djing; Mr. Dee Jay is a graduate of Icon Collective Music School (Glendale, Ca) and Owner of Skyline Studios (B.BaRR Chop Shop) in San Diego, CA.
Mr. Dee Jay is also highly involved in his community, not just with music but also through his extensive involvement with non-profit organizations. Specifically, Mr. Dee Jay has been an integral part of an organization having to do with the education, implementation and promotion of healthy lifestyles in children and young adults.
