E.C.T. (Electro Convulsive Therapy) are Paul Whelan and Caspar Kedros. Their sound is best defined as electro-breakbeat-house. Paul has had a regular show on Breaks FM and manned the decks at the likes of The End (RIP) in London and Brighton's Zap club. Caspar was a founder member of Headrillaz who's adventures in the late 90s' breakbeat scene saw him DJing around the world from Miami's Winter Music Conference to Glastenbury.
Paul and Caspar met when the two were producing tunes for the Eukabreaks label. Their shared love of electro and huge basslines led them to create the party monsters Junk Odyssey and Boomerang (Carbon), which stormed he breaks charts. After a number of plays of their singles by Annie Nightingale, they played a live set on her Radio One (posted here). The last few years have seen them work with vocalists on song-based material and get a live show together.
