Born and raised in Bronx, New York, DJ Blakghost had two turntables and a mixer in his blood. At a young age, he witnessed his father djing at various parties. While his father moved the crowd, he came to terms that he wanted to be a dj just like his father. At age 6, he got his first fisher price record player for christmas, and his first album was Bad by Michael Jackson. From that time on, he went to record shops with his father and bought REAL VINYLS. He got his set of belt driven turntables at the age of 9. That is when his journey of being a dj began.
