Cynthia re-located from London to Cambodia in 2010. In this city of opportunity, Cynthia started DJing under the name of Cyncity in December 2010, co-founding of a new monthly night in Phnom Penh called Fruity, playing electronic party music including house, UK bass and garage. As part of Fruity, she DJed at the inaugural Cambodian Fashion week in October 2011, working on the runway shows and after-parties for several nights, including the opening and closing shows and models closing party.
Cyncity has played across a range of Phnom Penh venues including private parties held at Raffles Hotel and Intercontinental Hotel, events held at Miro, Elyxir and Le Moon, and parties at Elsewhere, Fly, Riverhouse Lounge and Cotton Club. Her musical and DJ style continues to evolve, and Fruity has now grown into Kimchi Collective, a group of DJs, designers and party promoters.
