About Me
Alek X (born December 13, 1978, Dijon, France) is a French-Swiss electronic musician and DJ emerged from the Detroit techno wave in 1994. His music story began a decade ago with his seminal Trip-Hop band Khiasma, created in Lausanne, where he grew up.
After having composed hundreds of tracks in melted electronic genres, through many projects, such as music festivals, club and after parties, theater plays and film scorings - playing live and deejaying styles from IDM to Electro Rock, the production under Alek X marks his determination for the Minimal genre, mostly influenced by the Züricher scene.
