DJ TIP aka Tyler Pettis was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL and currently attends Florida Gulf Coast University. TIP developed an interest in music at the young age of 12 and by 13 he received his first set of turntables for Christmas. From that moment on TIP would spend countless hours, of non-stop mixing and cutting. With his imagination behind the turntables only being matched by his aspirations TIP has started to create a local buzz for himself. TIP has developed a wide and vast variety of different musical tastes from Fedde Le Grand (house) to Chuck Mangione (smooth jazz). TIP has both a profound love and respect for music and its roots and is prepared to work hard for what he loves. But with this young DJ's creativity it will only be a matter of time before he obtains recognition. Don't forget the name DJ TIP because you will hear it again.
