Back in 1991 when acid was still a strong sound in the raving scene, Simon was still listening to Top of The Pops and didn't have a clue about 'underground' music.
Creating music is another ball game entirely, but DJ Bubbsta was keen to make a tune. With the help of NICO at NO-U-Turn records in London, DJ Bubbsta produced a dark tune back in 1995 that he believes 'inspired' the breaks on some memorable drum n bass tunes on future tracks from artists such as Ed Rush et al.
Radio
The underground radio scene was gong strong and DJ Bubbs wanted people to hear his mixing so after meeting with some radio station innovators he managed to get some slots on pirate stations
