About Me
Joel Rubin Hirsch is a 22 year old DJ, producer and radio host born in Guatemala and raised in Philly, USA – He bought his first drumkit at the age of sixteen and went on to form a local metal band showing to be a promising drummer.
After high-school, instead of focusing fulltime on his music ambitions, Joel decided to go to Pace University, New York, studying Communications. After a year of attendance, he was unsatisfied with the Communications and did a Summer course in Advanced Music Production at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. While at NYU, he won a mixing competition and had an hour-long mix played on Paul Van Dyk’s “Vonyc Sessions” radio show.
