About Me
Aprentis, is a 27 year old DJ from Milton Keynes who began his career in 2006 at the age of 17. Soon after he started out he was picking up any local sets he could get his hands on, as well as showcasing his skills at various events he hosted in his hometown. As the years went by his reach expanded and he was eventually playing for brands and events up and down the UK.
Aprentis launched a jump up label called 'Filthy Technique' with the aid of his business partner, the late Coalminer/Kut D (R.I.P) in 2010 and the label launch was hosted at Space 2 of the Custard Factory. Within the first year they had hit their first no.1 releases in the Nu-Urban and TrackItDown charts. 2015 saw the brand expand bringing in Benny Tempa and Lukey B as partners, with their variety of Mc's including Jesta, Slinna, Whizz, Switch and Snypz to keep the vibes fresh.
He Took a break for the majority of 2016 because he was working on moving away from focusing primarily on Jump up and adapting a new style to appeal to a wider audience. Aprentis is now currently working with Cre8dnb and Mutated Resonance, aiming to get back involved in the scene and cause an impact even greater than before.
