About Me
London based dj Mat Lock has been establishing an extensive career in the London, UK and worldwide trance scene since 2005. Starting his playing career on the legendary web radio station Trance Airwaves in 2003. Mat Lock first made his club dj debut when he entered the Heat UK DJ Competition and beat off the competition to take 1st place and the prize to play at their Heat UK South West Four Launch Party.
Mat Lock's first production, Deep Psychosis, was signed to DJSA Records and was released on 10th December 2007. The track has seen a remix produced by several artists including the famous Daniel Kandi as part of the release. The track had been championed by the World’s number 1 dj Armin van Buuren on his A State Of Trance radio show and won the Tune Of The Week and Future Favourite in successive weeks. The track remix has now featured on Armin's ASOT Yearmix 2008 double CD Compilation and also Armin Only - Armin's DVD video of his Armin Only night from Holland in 2008.
