I believe that good mixing involves more than just transitioning between two songs. Every mix is an opportunity to combine elements and make something amazing. I've been mixing on turntables/cd players for more than a decade, and I find that I'm bored with it because it is so limited. With new DJ software you're free to push the boundaries of what is possible as a DJ, and I believe that only through evolving your craft can you truly achieve greatness.
