Of course, like so many others, his humble beginnings were motivated by the sounds of B96's mixmasters: Bobby D, Julian Jumpin' Perez, Brian Middleton, Bad Boy Bill, etcBut also Hard Rock and Metal bands such as Slayer, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Testament, Exodus, and Anthrax—who through their aggressive tones, helped mold Brian S's unique hard edged style, both in terms of his music and formidable image; thus completely setting him apart from the rest of the pack.
