Born in Nuremberg, DJ XLR8 aka Peter Neumeier was initially always the typical hobbyist for large systems, then he found more and more the fun of music, which he is continually evolving and increasingly specializing in electronic music.
Of course he bought at a young age already his first turntables and started his first mixing attempts. In 1997 he launched the first small parties and the music led him the first time in smaller venues, but it was quickly to commercial for him.
The fascination of electro, trance and progressive sounds in 2002 led him to start with a few friends, the series of events Triptec. Initially in small venues to trendy clubs like the Zoom in Nuremberg!
At the same time he also began to spread his sound on online radio stations including 2DR (Berlin), ShockbaseFM, ShoutedFM, currently on soe.fm and he began to start his first productions!
