During the day at work, I get access to the site via Safari on my iPad 2. Unlike using the site thru the Chrome browser on the PC which is very efficient, on the iPad I spend half the time watching the red logo / progress indicator spin. Sometimes a page will blink into sight, only to be replaced by the progress indicator ... and I think: HEY! The page was right there, why are you refreshing?!! Every operation seems to take forever.

It's frustrating. My question is: Should I avoid Safari and use an app instead? Or is the site performance just bad on Mac products?
